The Baan Unrak Children's Home(BUCH) conducted a fund-raising event in the Baan Unrak School compound to promote the BUCH's weaving center clothing line. The event is full of children show and dance presentation of kids from different ethnicities in the community such as Karen, Mon and Thai. It was attended by many foreign volunteers, tourists and locals.

โครงการทันตสุขภาพในโรงเรียน โรงเรียนบ้านอุ่นรักจัดโครงการนี้ขึ้นมาเพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนมีสุขภาพฟันและเหงือกที่ดีแข็งแรง โดยมีการแปรงฟันหลังอาหารในระดับชั้นอนุบาลและประถมศึกษา และในปีนี้ทางโรงเรียนได้เข้าประกวดสุขภาพฟันดีที่สาธารณสุขจังหวัดกาญจนบุรีจัดขึ้น โรงเรียนเข้าประกวดได้รางวัลชมเชยระดับจังหวัดถือว่าเป็นเกียรติประวัติที่ดีของโรงเรียนที่จะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาต่อไปในอนาคตได้ Dental Health Program for students. This school program designed to encourage the students to have healthy teeth and gums for their good health. All students from kindergarten to elementary level must brush their teeth every after meal. This year, the school received a Good Dental Health award held inKanchanaburi organized by the Public Health Office. The school entry awarded a prestigious prize at the provincial level. This program makes a history of the school that will lead to further development in the future.

เนื่องด้วยวันที่ 12 สิงหาคม 2554 เป็นวันเฉลิมพระชนพรรษาของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าพระบรมราชินีนาถ ท่านทรงเป็นแม่ของแผ่นดิน ทางโรงเรียนบ้านอุ่นรักจึงจัดกิจกรรมวันแม่ขึ้นในโรงเรียน มีกิจกรรมต่างๆมากมาย เช่น วาดภาพวันแม่ เรียงความวันแม่ จัดบอร์ดวันแม่ และร้องเพลงเกี่ยวกับวันแม่ เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนรับรู้ถึงบุญคุณของผู้ให้กำเนิด ซึ่งเราทั้งหลายเรียกบุคคุลนั้นว่า แม่ คำพูดสั้นๆ แต่มีความหมายที่ลึกซึ้งและลูกทุกคนต้องจดจำคำๆ นี้ไว้ในห้วงลึกของ จิตใจว่าบุญคุณของท่านนั้นใหญ่หลวงนัก นักเรียนจึงมีความซาบซึ้งและระลึกถึงบุญคุณของแม่ในการจัดกิจกรรมครั้งนี้ In August 12, 2011, as the school celebrate the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. In Baan Unrak School, we taught the students how to practice their rights. And one of these is the "Right to Suffrage or the Right to Vote". Learning how to vote for their leaders and as a representative is a unified decision of the students by way of election. The Majority of the casted votes will be the official representative of the students. โรงเรียนบ้านอุ่นรัก เป็นโรงเรียนที่มีกลุ่มเยาวชนชาติพันธ์ เช่น กะเหรี่ยง มอญ พม่า และมีเด็พิการทางสมองและร่างกายมาเรียน ดังนั้นทางโรงเรียนจึงได้จัดการเลือกตั้ง ประธานนักเรียนขึ้น เพื่อที่จะได้มีตัวแทนนักเรียนดูแลเพื่อนนักเรียนด้วยกัน โดยมีการจัดการเลือกตั้งเพื่อลงคะแนนตามระบอบประชาธิปไตย ซึ่งนักเรียนทุกคนมีสิทธิลงคะแนน เพื่อฝึกการออกไปใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้ง ก่อนที่จะถึงวัยอันสมควร

Baan Unrak School welcomes the new school year and the new students from different ethnicities including Burmese, Karen, Mon and Thai. Annually, the school has a celebration to introduce itself to the school community as a fun-filled place to learn. The program started with teacher introduction and a dance presentation from the students. Our Background Located near the Burmese border, Sangklaburi is home to a diverse population of 45,000. This border town is mostly populated by Burmese, Karen, and Mon hill tribes. They are often stateless, without nationality or proper human rights. As a result, many children suffer from: Poverty and neglect Abandonment or loss of parents Lack of education Fear and hopelessness To tackle these problems, Baan Unrak School, registered under the Thai Ministry of Education, opened its door on March 25th, 2005 to the children of Sangklaburi.
